19. I-Blog Paper

It was fun to fill this paper.
It was like Little Sonja from computer was doing interview with us :)
I am putting it there like Onur Olgaç, because while i was reading his paper, i enjoyed a lot by hearing other people's opinions about blogging.

Section 1:

♥ I have never regularly blogged before this course. To tell the truth I had opened tons of account and every time when I opened, decided to write regularly. However I couldn’t keep my promise. I have a character specialty. I am not doing anything without obligation. But when there is obligation I am absolutely doing it. Could I describe? Sometimes this obligation is bringing me entertainment sometimes It is being huge burden for me. Blog assignment was kind of task that bring me entertainment and became part of me. I hope I will give up my specialty and will go on blogging after this assignment too.

♥ As I explained blogging idea was not foreign to me. There was always a small idea which was standing on my brain. My first impression was very nice. Websites are my special-care-area so I was happy about the thought of I can use my skills on lecture. When I got involved with my blog I understand that I must write qualified, this isn’t something about being webmaster. I got more interested about blogging because I realized blog is a area where you can show yourself with only your writing. In other words, let the letters dance :)

Section 2:

♥ Setting up blog was easy for me because I tried to set up blog in www.blogspot.com before. But I didn’t use gadgets like “Labels, Blog List, etc.”. Buy the help of Sonja, I learnt them.

♥ While I was chatting with my friends, family, while I was in listening lectures (ok sometimes not listeningJ) my brain was always working for something that I can write on my blog. I was slowly creating my blog entries. When I opened my PC, I was writing it in 15 minutes. So managing my time was not a big deal.

♥ I didn’t have a problems experienced. But my frustration& disappointment was about myself. I was not able to write exactly what I was thinking because of my lack of vocabulary. But I am studying hard for improving it. I am watching soap operas with subtitle and trying to learn new words.

Section 3:

♥ I looked it more deeply after reading this question. Ok, my use of language is not effective, I accept. But I think I am suiting to Blog format and writing entries variously and trying to create connections with our lectures. I think it is worthy of a good grade.

♥ Of course, I improved my skills. I learnt how to write in daily-life. Another thing is sometimes It was like we are writing online note-book because we were writing about our course materials too. So it improved my skill of note-taking. (This is huge problem for me in SPS 101 lectures.)And it improved my technologic skills by learning more deeply how to set my blog.

♥ I didn’t look at it because I remember the criteria from the class lecture clearly and when I read Sonja’s blog it was a guide which explains us how to write.

♥ I would change my use of language. I will spend more time on my grammar, and vocabularies which I use at my blog.

Section 4:

♥ It was fun to read about other people’s blog. Because if you write something, it includes completely your opinions and I like to hear different kind of opinions and then compare them. In our course there was I think 60 people. At least 30 of them were writing blog actively. It is very important to read 30 different angles to subject. Isn’t that great? But differently reading a teacher blog was profitable for catching hints about course lecture.

♥ All of comments were helpful feedback for me. Getting comment about my texts was great!!

Section 5:

♥ I would like specific blog assignments because I want to write something and then I want listen other people’s opinion. So when there are specific blog assignments, everybody is writing on the same subject. But sometimes, writing with freedom is nice too. But I prefer specific assignment to freedom. In other word we must write about specific blog assignments but we allowed writing with freedom sometimes, like in the semester. It is useful system.

♥ There is no opinion about it on my mind, sorry. I think everything was suitable. Especially Sonja’s comments on my posts gave me courage.

♥ I am highly recommending it. Writing about one subject by including our opinions not only good for improving English skills it is also improving intellectuality clearly.
